Subject: Best SMR
Was definitely the last show. Jerry just belts it out at the end. Also, yes, comes a time was performed a number of times in years past. Mebbe the poster meant 6 times in the 90's or something because it was removed largely from the rotation after the 80's.

What are you talking about? I saw Comes A Time from 1985-1995 much more than six times. And they played it in 1971-1980 numerous times.

The best SMR is 10-9-94 US Air. Also the last of only 6 live comes a time, first broken arrow ever!!! This show was magical!!! What goodtime thanks to Dwight and Felix!!! :P

Subject: The road less traveled
This only has a two star rating..because it's a studio practice. I give it a four in my heart of hearts.

This is a great little gem to have.... This song was such a theme for Jerry in the later years. I absolutely love this song, and it was one that I was really hoping they would have laid down in studio. I think they could have really made this into something amazing.. There are a few live versions that show a hint of how incredible a song it was. Just list to 6-8-1992 at the Richfield Coliseum - my all time favorite live cut of this song. Jerry goes nuts at the end!!

As much as Jerry hated to write songs (by his own admission), when he nailed it...he really nailed it.
